Can I book just a course, without accommodation?
Yes, you can. We have separate prices for courses and accommodations, so you can check what a course alone would cost.
Transfer
Our comprehensive range of services even provides our students with the possibility of a transfer from their arrival airport or train station, directly to BWK Campus, for a fee.
Alternatively, you can of course, take public transportation (approx. €2.50) or a taxi (between €20 – €30 depending on the airport).
Host Family
If you are staying with a host family that was organized through BWK, you will be picked-up upon arrival.

What fees are due in the case of a cancellation?
In the case of a cancellation, the following charges will apply (as percentage of the full invoiced amount):
56 days or more prior to start of course: 10%
From 55 to 30 days prior to the start of the course: 20%
From 29 to 22 days prior to the start of the course: 30%
From 21 to 15 days prior to the start of the course: 50%
14 days or less prior to the start of the course: 100%
Health and well-being of the students
During a stay in a foreign country problems may arise - they may be of a medical, emotional, or other nature. This is normal when you are away from home for a longer period. In such cases, help is provided by our experienced instructors and coaches. All matters will be kept strictly confidential. Reliable care is available to our students 24-hours a day, guaranteed.
Homework
Active course participation is expected from all of our students. This includes a certain amount of homework. Homework is given regularly and also includes the preparation for, and the review of, the lessons of the day. The quantity of homework given, however, will always leave enough time for leisure activities. Written assignments will be corrected and returned to the students. These then serve as an indication of the student's individual progress.
Health Insurance
Should you need travel health insurance for your stay during your course, you can purchase it at the same time as you are booking your course at the BWK. The insurance costs €2 per day and covers you for illnesses and accidents (or more specifically, the related treatments) for the duration of your studies at the BWK. Pre-existing illnesses and their consequences are not included in the coverage. Any type of illness that is intentionally caused, is not included in the coverage. Liability insurance is not included in the coverage.
Language Levels
The following timetable is based on courses with 25 lessons per week:

Please note that there are some course periods each year during which it takes 6 weeks instead of 5 to complete a level, i.e. the course duration is extended by one week. This is due to that fact that there are numerous holidays in these periods, on which no lessons will take place.
